Miracle of the Wedding Ring

DSC_0008
Earlier this fall, while playing catch with the dogs, Neal felt his wedding ring slip from his finger.  We couldn't find it.  My pleas to St. Anthony* did no good.  We had no access to a metal detector.  This was the third time his ring has been lost.

This weekend, while raking, he found it.

*I don't post my pleas online.  And, yes, despite no longer being a Roman Catholic, I do still practice some of my old habits!

  1. Woohoo! I’m not Catholic, nor have I ever lived in New Orleans, but I have prayed to St. Expedite to, well, expedite stuff from time to time and he has never failed me.
I’m thinking the plea to St. Anthony DID work, just not as quickly as you had hoped. 😉

  2. Prayers do work!
We were raking a few years back after we bought this farm and found a partial plate with two teeth attached to a massive amount of gold. One…they must have missed it, huh? and Two, who was it?
    Reasons to rake the leaves!
