Now, Day 19

These aren’t from my garden, but they still tasted great on a French boule with butter. Along with a watermelon, cucumber, and feta salad, and a green salad, and a small glass of beer, those radishes made a fresh, delish dinner in the gloaming.

  1. My mother used to serve radishes like the French – she was French. She carved out a small wedge in the radish and pushed in a bit of real butter in there. Helps quell the heat from the radish. Yum. Have you tried sauteing them? Try it. Surprisingly good.
