Remember in Funny Face when Maggie Preston declares that the staff, editors, and readership will all "think pink"? Well, I’m in the mood to think green.
Last spring I posted about my newish love for green, and as I wait for spring to come around again, kelly green is the shade that’s rocking my world.
We’ve got some Malabrigo for a Clapotis (do I really need to link that?), cashmere from Sarah’s Yarns (adore her!) destined for the fabu Brompton, and cotton for a sweater for Baby Meadow, my great-niece.
Does the middle of winter make you long for something fresh?
Oh wow, a green Brompton will be just stunning!
What gorgeous, gorgeous greens!
Green IS the new black after all. At least that keeps me warm on a cold night when I realize that I have an eensy bit too much green in my stash. Clapotis? What’s that? I’ve completely forgotten about it.
That is a gorgeous green, and I love the Brompton sweater. It will be a great match. Also, thanks for visiting my site.
What’s a clapotis? Never heard of it… *grin*
Mmmmm, a kelly green clapotis, and in Malabrigo?! Sounds like a recipe for heaven!
I think Brompton will look great in green, too. Happy knitting!
Mmmmmmmm, green Malabrigo, pretty!
How springy and lovely!
It was storming here last night. Wind, rain and cold. I curled up in bed under a quilt and was content. We don’t get enough winter here for me to get tired of it. Although, I will say that the sun is out this morning and I do love it.
I love green all times of the year but that yarn is beautiful and perfect for spring!
Oh maaaaannnnn…I love the green cashmere. And I don’t think I’ve seen the green Malabrigo before. Must…check…it out…*gasp*
PS: adoring my wheel. Will you be at guild on Saturday? It’s auctionnnn dayyyyy…
