She’s prettiest at night, when her silver branches sparkle with the bright colors of the lights. This tree makes me happy beyond reason. Tomorrow I think I’ll tackle the mantle and get the stockings hung with care.

Jealous! Jealous! I swear the first thing we will do after our (yet to be scheduled) closing is go buy a Christmas tree!!
I am very jealous of your silver tree. We bought a new fake tree this year and I really wanted a pink tinsel tree. My husband briefly considered it, but the kids were crazy against it. I was a little surprised. Parents are supposed to have a traditional tree, I have been informed. I love the scent of the real thing, but am seriously allergic to pine, as is my eldest (who turns 20 tomorrow). Have fun with your tree and get a Go phone so that you don’t start worrying if the life insurance is enough to pay for the house every time your husband is late. Helps with the last minute grocery run too. Merry Christmas, Bev
