Thanks, and Some Comedy

Thanks, everyone, for your good wishes for my sister.  I e-mailed her and suggested that she read the comments, and I’m sure she’ll be grateful.  I told her that Knitter-vibe is a powerful thing.

In the heat of New England July, Neal and I went with our friends (whom we affectionately call "the French") to see my darling Shakespeare’s Comedy of Errors last night.  The play is so funny, and the actors did a good job with it.  There’s little I like better in life than a picnic and Shakespeare in the summer.  What’s your favorite summer fun?

  1. It’s almost cliche to say that cancer treatments are improving everyday, but they are – I’m living proof – so hang in there. You (and she) will be in my prayers!!

  2. What the other Amie said.
Hmmm…summer fun…I have to say wandering around the Farmer’s Market is quite fun. Free samples, unusual foods, great people-watching…this past weekend, there was a stand offering didgeridoo (sp?) brain therapy.

  3. We’re hooked on going to the drive in movies right now. The drive in near us lets you bring your own food (if you pay them $4 for an “outside food” pass), so we usually take a picnic dinner and make a night of it.

  4. The power of blog prayer, I love it. Will be remembering POMO’s sister in our dinner table prayers tonight.
A favorite, (i have many) summer activity: smores around the campfire on a cool night

  5. Hi there – If you’re interested, a travelling Shakespeare company is performing “Comedy of Errors” at NW Park on Saturday the 28th, 5pm! 🙂
