Koigu.
Yup.
You read right. Charlie girl helped herself to a skein of koigu destined for my KSKS pal. I left it vulnerable on the bed as I worked in another room. I looked in the living room to see a spaghetti-like mess. I’ve tried unknotting the mess, but I’m just getting little bitty bits. I have another yarn that I’d planned to send her, but I’m disappointed. Not in the puppy; she’s only six months old. In myself for forgetting what thieves puppies are.
At least there is one intact skein. My pal can use it to make ankle socks, I guess.
Oh no!
I’m so sorry, sweetie. Don’t be too hard on yourself. It’s easy to forget what puppies are like when you haven’t had one in the house for a while.
Aaaack! Why is it that mayhem and destruction tend to target our most prized items? IF there had been any cheap acrylic in your home I seriously doubt that the pup would have turned it into a chew toy. I hope it’s salvageable. And ankle socks are very functional.
Oh NO!!! Which colorway? Do you want me to look for more?
You know puppies do train us rather quickly;-)
Oh, that is so sad. A friend of mine has a cat that can sense yarn in any bag. For awhile she only knit at work, because she was afraid her cat would get ahold of her yarn. Thankfully we found a bag that her kitty can’t open, so she can knit everywhere =)
bev, could you please email me. i’ve been in contact with my ksks swap pal and told her i would be delayed in mailing – i’m now ready to mail, but i don’t have a complete address, just name, city and state and zip, but no street address or p o box….hoping to hear from you soon….
