They’ve been reviewed endlessly, so I’m not going to spend too much energy on them, but let me say that I adore my purchases from Threaded Bliss Yarns:

Now, about the Yarn Harlot’s book. Her writing is a lot of fun to read, and I think what I like best about the book is that she gives sort of master plan patterns for hats, scarves, and my favorite, socks. Nothing ground breaking here, and a dearth of attractive pictures, but a good read nonetheless.
The new MagKnits is up today. I’m not too nuts about most of the patterns, although I might make the Saturday Market bag and the Tropicana socks. I’ve got quite a stash of sock yarn, and I need to start using it! Anyone planning on making any of the other patterns?
I was thinking about both of those patterns!
Tropicana and the two tank tops were the only ones that appealed to me. Ditto on the sock yarn. Someday I’ll make a sock that isn’t a jaywalker.
Thank you for the book and pattern information! Both of these are books that I’ve put on my birthday list for my DH. You are so very welcome for the yarn. I’m glad I received your name, it’s been fun reading your blog. Happy knitting!
ohmiGod Magknits is up?
Gotta go…
Those were the two patterns that I liked too, especially the market bag.
I haven’t started working on it yet, but I’ve got the yarn to make the linen curtain from the Mason-Dixon book. Looking forward to it!
I like the Saturday Market bag and I like Lux. Lux is very much my style. I have an itching to place a Webs order and they carry the Cotton Fleece. Gotta go exercise my CC.
Hey Bev — I agree with your lack of enthusiasm for the patterns in this issue of MagKnits. I do like the Rose of Sharon bag. Might make that for Livi. And the socks look interesting. The last pattern (that low cut tank) is a gravity monstrosity and, when it comes to gravity, I don’t need any furher contributions.
